Season 4 of the podcast is back and this season we’re releasing 2 episodes a week! This episode tackles the problem with seeking perfection and introduces our new weekly segment Gilding The Lily. What is “Gilding The Lily” you ask? Well, it’s a common misquotation of a line from William Shakespeare‘s 1595 play King John, iv.2:
- “To gild refined gold, to paint the lily, to throw a perfume on the violet, to smooth the ice, or add another hue unto the rainbow, or with taper-light to seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish, is wasteful and ridiculous excess.”
In this segment, which will appear in every Sunday night, is EXTRA. We’ll talk about what we’re loving that’s so extra that it’s perfect. We hope you enjoy!
